Harrow, No Stopping Restrictions Outside Schools

What is happening?

London Borough of Harrow

(The Harrow (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 20*)

    1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

    1. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce or amend No Stopping restrictions outside schools as detailed:

      • Pinner High School, Beaulieu Road, on both sides, between a point 4.20 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 27 and 29 Beaulieu Drive and a point 43.56 metres south of that point between the hours of 8.00am - 9.00am & 2.30pm - 4.00pm Mon - Fri & 9.00am - 10.30am & 12.30pm - 1.30pm Saturday;

      • The John Lyon School, Middle Road, on both sides, between a point 10.00 metres north-east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 29 and 31 Middle Road and a point 25.56 metres north-east of that point 7.30am – 5.00pm Mon – Fri.

    1. A copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays. The proposals can also be viewed @ www.harrow.gov.uk/trafficorders

    1. Further information may be obtained by contacting the Transportation Service at transportation@harrow.gov.uk.

  1. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the address stated below or via email to; Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at transportation@harrow.gov.uk quoting reference 25-10 Nos before the aforementioned date.
