TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A137 CHANCEY ROAD AND THE B1075 PRINCES STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
The A137 Chancery Road, Ipswich from Chancery Road for 127 metres westbound to B1075 Princes Street junction and B1075 Princes Street from Civic Drive to Chancery Road.
The B1075 Princes Street, Ipswich from Ranelagh Road to Civic Drive
The closures will be over flat road and south safely during a planned date. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bluebell Road, Stokes Street, Bridge Street, Greyfriars Road, Friarsway, Civic Drive, Handford Road, Ranelagh Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 26/05/2025 from 2pm - 7pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C556 BADWELL ROAD, WALSHAM LE WILLOWS
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C556 Badwell Road, Walsham Le Willows from The Elms for 250 metres westbound to facilitate remedial works on dangerous chambers and covers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be The Causeway, Ixworth Road, Walsham Road, the A143, the A1088, The Street, Badwell Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/05/2025 - 30/05/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C624 Higham Road, Tuddenham from the junction with Cavenham Road for 300 metres southbound to facilitate drainage works for previous burst water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Cavenham Road, The Street, Icknield Way, Higham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 27/05/2025 to 6am on 28/05/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C631 INGHAM ROAD, CULFORD AND WEST STOW
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
C631 Ingham Road, Culford
C631 Ingham Road, West Stow from the junction with Icklingham Road to the junction with Culford Road
This is to facilitate Anglian Water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Ingham Road, West Stow Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/05/2025 - 30/05/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be the A134, the B1508 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 28/05/2025 from 9.30am - 4.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ROAD HUMP AND TOUCAN CROSSING ON NEW HIGHWAY OFF WESTERFIELD ROAD (B1077), IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council proposes to construct two raised road humps, install a toucan crossing, and install a signalised junction, on new highway accessed off B1077 Westerfield Road, Ipswich near the new highway created intended to serve the Ipswich Garden Suburb development.
The proposed raised table road humps will be located on a side road, approximately 226 metres south of Westerfield Road.
The proposed Toucan Crossing will be located approximately 202 metres south of the existing signalised junction.
The proposed signalised junction of the B1077 Westerfield Road, Ipswich will be located approximately 91 metres north on the northern boundary of property at 169 Westerfield Road, Ipswich.
A plan showing the location of the proposed humps and crossing may be seen with advanced notice at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich IP1 3DE, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 6pm; Tuesday and Friday: 9am - 7pm; Saturday: 8.30am - 5pm; and Sunday: 10am - 4pm.
