Spath Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For Installing A New Water Connection

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC143217088: The City of Manchester (Spath Road, Didsbury West Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Spath Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Palatine Road, Barlow Moor Road, Mersey Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate installing a new water connection. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 2nd June 2025 to the 6th June 2025. The order shall come into operation on 2nd June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 19th May 2025.
ORDER NO. MCC143215842: The City of Manchester (Heald Place, Moss Side Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Heald Place. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Heald Place, Eileen Grove West, Eileen Grove, Platt Lane vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate gas mains replacement. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 2nd June 2025 to the 23rd June 2025. The order shall come into operation on the 2nd June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
