Rear Of Sanderson Road - Temporary Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE (REAR OF SANDERSON ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on The whole of Rear of Sanderson Road, from its junction with Acorn Road to its junction with the rear of Osborne Road.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 23 June 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 27 June 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
