(U52302 Rose Hill, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52302 Rose Hill from its junction with A44 London Rd to its junction with U52321 Upper Park St.

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: U52321 Upper Park St, U52318 Fort Royal Hill, A44 London Rd, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 9 June 2025 and 20 June 2025.

(U47607 Church Lane, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47607 Church Ln from its junction with U47606 Walkers Ln to its junction with U47609 Old Rd.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Anti-clockwise: U47606 Walkers Ln, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Rd, U47607 Church Ln (in part).

Clockwise: U47607 Church Ln (part), A4440 Whittington Rd, A4440 Swinesherd Way (Northbound), A4440 County Hall Roundabout, A4440 Swinesherd Way (Southbound), U47606 Walkers Lane (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 9 June 2025.

(U53117 New Street, Worcester)

(Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53117 New St from its junction with U53118 Charles St to its junction with U53116 Corn Market and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Utility works by STW.

Alternative route: U53118 Charles St, A38 City Walls Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 8 June 2025.

(Link Footpath F60321 Cromwell Street to Canal Side, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F60321 Cromwell St to Canal Side from its junction with U53001 Cromwell St and Link Footpath F60321 Cromwell St to Canal Side to its junction with U53002 Padmore St.

Reason: Bridge parapet replacement and resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F60321 Cromwell St to Canal Side (part), U53001 Cromwell St, B4025 Shrub Hill Rd, B4025 Lowesmoor Place, U53002 Padmore St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 173 days (24hrs). Commencing: 9 June 2025.

(A44 Whittington Road, Whittington) (Northbound Closure Only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of A44 Whittington Rd from its junction with A44 Whittington Roundabout (M5 junction 7) to its junction with A4440 Whittington Rd Roundabout.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: A44 Whittington Roundabout, B4084 Pershore Rd, B4084 Worcester Rd, B4084 Windmill Hill, B4084 Egdon Ln, A44 Evesham Rd, A44 Spetchley Rd, A4440 Nunnery Way, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A4440 Whittington Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00–06:00) between 11 June 2025 and 24 June 2025.

(U52303 Orchard Street, Worcester)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52303 Orchard St from its junction with U52305 Cavendish St to its junction with U52300 Waverley St.

Reason: Sewer works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U52305 Cavendish St, U52306 Berwick St, U52300 Waverley St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 9 June 2025.

(U54007 Hawkwood Crescent, Worcester)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54007 Hawkwood Cr from its junction with U54005 Farley St to its junction with U54007 Tearne St.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U54007 Tearne St, U54007 Hawkwood Cr (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 10 June 2025 and 13 June 2025.

(B4550 Blackpole Road/B4639 Cotswold Way, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of

Closure 1 – B4550 Blackpole Road from its junction with U51101 Winchcombe Dr for a distance of 212 metres in a northerly direction.

Closure 2 – B4639 Cotswold Way from its junction with B4550 Blackpole Rd to its junction with U51146 Northleach Cl.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route:

Northbound Diversion (Clockwise):

B4550 Blackpole Rd (part), A4536 Blackpole Rd, A4536 Hurst Ln, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A449 Warndon Interchange, A4440 Warndon Way, B4639 Berkeley Way, B4639 Cotswold Way (part).

Northbound Diversion (Anticlockwise):

B4639 Cotswold Way (part), B4639 Berkeley Way, A449 Warndon Interchange, A449 Worcester Northern Link, B4550 Blackpole Rd (part).

Southbound Diversion:

B4550 Blackpole Rd (part), U51200 Windermere Dr, U51200 Tolladine Rd, B4637 Middle Hollow Dr, B4638 Woodgreen Dr, B4639 Cotswold Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00–06:00) between 9 June 2025 and 23 June 2025.

(B4638 Woodgreen Drive (roundabouts), Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4638 Woodgreen Dr (roundabouts) from its junction with U51700 Mill Wood Dr roundabout to its junction with U51400 Dugdale Dr roundabout.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route:

HGV Diversion: B4638 Woodgreen Dr (part), B4639 Berkeley Way, A4440 Parsonage Way, A4440 Trosthill Way, A4440 Grange Way, B4636 Woodgreen Dr to Nunnery Way, B4636 Woodgreen Dr and vice versa.

Local Diversion 1: U51700 Mill Wood Dr, U51600 Plantation Dr, A4440 Parsonage Way, U51400 Dugdale Dr and vice versa.

Local Diversion 2: U51400 Dugdale Dr, A4440 Parsonage Way, U51600 Plantation Dr, U51700 Mill Wood Dr and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00–06:00) between 9 June 2025 and 27 June 2025.

(U50025 Somers Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U50025 Somers Rd from its junction with U50025 Lyttleton St to its junction with U50026 Berkeley St.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U50026 Berkeley St, U50028 Pitchcroft Ln, U50025 Lyttleton St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 21 May 2025 and 23 May 2025.

(B4636 Newtown Road, Worcester)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of B4636 Newtown Rd from its junction with U51330 Sheriff St to its junction with B4205 Midland Rd.

Reason: Bridgework inspection by Network Rail.

No access for emergency services diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: B4205 Shrub Hill Rd, B4637 Tolladine Rd, B4637 Middle Hollow Dr, B4638 Woodgreen Dr, B4636 Newtown Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (22:00–06:00). Commencing: 19 May 2025.

(C2069 Ockeridge) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2069 Ockeridge from its junction with C2068 Wichenford to its junction with U64003 Northington Ln.

Reason: Overhead cabling works by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2069 Ockeridge (part), C2068 Wichenford, C2068 Monkwood Green, C2068 Moseley Rd, C2069 Worlds End, C2069 Sinton Green, C2069 Ockeridge (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 20 May 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS, AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpaths DB-500, Drakes Broughton & SN-558 Stoulton) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Order made: To close Footpaths DB-500, Drakes Broughton and SN-558, Stoulton for their entire lengths.

The Order has been made to facilitate the renewal of a railway infrastructure.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: (clockwise) footpath SN-560 in Stoulton, SN5-90, DB-502 in Drakes Broughton & Wadborough, U47619 Abbotswood Road, footpath DB-501, NJ-553 in Norton Juxta Kempsey, C2201 Wadborough Rd., NJ-542, and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 16 May 2025.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area)

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2025

[Prohibition of Waiting on St George’s Lane South, Worcester]

On 1 May 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: –

St George’s Lane South (East side): From its junction with St George’s Lane North for a distance of 42 metres in a southerly direction.

(West side): From its junction with St George’s Lane North for a distance of 71 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain vehicles and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 22 May 2025.

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2025

[Prohibition of Waiting on Pitmaston Road, Middle Road, Great House Road and Bedwardine Road, Worcester]

On 1 May 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Pitmaston Road (North side): From its junction with Middle Road for a distance of 4 metres in both an easterly and westerly direction.

Middle Road (Both sides): From its junction with Pitmaston Road for a distance of 6 metres in a northerly direction.

Great House Road (South side): From its junction with Bedwardine Road for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction and 9.5 metres in a westerly direction.

Bedwardine Road (Both sides): From its junction with Great House Road for a distance of 5.5 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 22 May 2025.

[Prohibition of Waiting on A38 Bath Road, Worcester]

On 1 May 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of roads in Worcester:

A38 Bath Road (West side): From a point 99 metres southeast of its junction with Stanley Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 22 May 2025.
