Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

Temporary One Way Suspension Order,
Temporary Parking Bay Suspension Order And
Temporary Road Closure Order On St Mary’s Gate, Derby

WHEN: 27 May 2025 to 29 May 2025 WHERE: Close St Mary’s Gate, from No. 40 to its junction with Queen Street, a distance of approximately 33 metres. Parking bay suspension, approximately 20 metres from No 40 to 42 within closure. One-way suspension, from its junction with Jury Street to approximately 33 metres from its junction with Queen Street. 
REASON: Water works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Queen Street – Cathedral Road – Jury Street – St Mary’s Gate

WHEN: 16 June 2025 to 20 June 2025 (19:30pm - 06:00am) WHERE: Manor Park Way, from the roundabout junction with Northmead Drive and Southmead Way. REASON: Carriageway resurfacing ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Access to be maintained


Temporary Road Closure Order On Nottingham Road, Derby Road And Derby Road (Service Road), Derby

WHEN: 27 May 2025 to 30 May 2025 (Daily: Phases 1A, 1B and 1C – 22:00 to 06:00 and Phase 1D – 20.00 to 06.00 – Tuesday to Friday Overnight Only) WHERE: Phase 1A and 1B – Nottingham Road, from its junction with Meadow Lane to its junction with Lyndhurst Grove Phase 1C – Derby Road, from its junction with Oregon Way to its junctions with Acorn Way and Raynesway Phase 1D – Derby Road (Service Road), at its junction with Eden Road REASON: Construction work ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Phases 1A and 1B – Nottingham Road – Eden Road – Albert Road – Meadow Lane – Nottingham Road and the same in the opposite direction And Sunny Grove – Lime Grove – Derby Road – Nottingham Road and the same in the opposite direction Phase 1C – Derby Road – Spondon Roundabout – A52 Westbound – The Pentagon – Nottingham Road – Derby Road And Derby Road – Nottingham Road – The Pentagon – A52 Eastbound – Spondon Roundabout – Derby Road Phase 1D – Eden Road – Derby Road – Derby Road (Service Road) and the same in the opposite direction

WHEN: 25 June 2025 to 27 June 2025 WHERE: Peet Street, from its junction with Franchise Street to its junction with Drewry Lane REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Peet Street – Uttoxeter New Road – Boundary Road – Camden Street – Upper Boundary Road – Franchise Street – Peet Street and the same in the opposite direction 

Temporary Road Closure Order On Mile Ash Lane, Derby

WHEN: 02 June 2025 – 06 June 2025 WHERE: Mile Ash Lane, from its junction with Kedleston Road to its junction with Allestree Lane REASON: Gas works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kedleston Road – Church Lane – Duffield Road – Allestree Lane (and the same in the opposite direction)


Temporary Road Closure Order On Prince Charles Avenue, Derby

WHEN: 02 June 2025 WHERE: Prince Charles Avenue, from its junction with Collingham Gardens to its junction with Merton Drive REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A52 – Radbourne Lane – Aldersgate – Westbourne Park – Acton Road and the same in the opposite direction.
