Fifth Way, Temporary Road Closures Due To Crane Dismantling Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

FIFTH WAY  *(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate dismantling a tower crane and associated works in Fifth Way, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit:-

(a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Fifth Way, which lies between the eastern kerb-line of Fulton Road and the western kerb-line of Third Way;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-eastern footway of Fifth Way, which lies between the eastern kerb-line of Fulton Road and a point 140.00 metres south-east of that kerb-line;

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply from 8th June 2025 to 12th June 2025 and from 5th July 2025 to 10th July 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 12.01 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. from 8th June 2025 to 12th June 2025, with the following dates being backup dates.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Fifth Way would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
