What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL (PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 6 (BALLAST LANE) AND PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 17, AVONMOUTH, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the above Order, made on 12th November 2024, has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 28th February 2026 or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

The effect of the Order has closed, temporarily to pedestrians the lengths of public rights of way specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This Order was required because works are being executed on or near the public rights of way and would have expired on 25th May 2025.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Avonmouth Way, Unnamed Footpath between Avonmouth Way and Boundary Road, Boundary Road, Unnamed Road between Avonmouth Way and Boundary Road and vice versa
