Notice is hereby given that an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry to determine the appeal by Archers Fields Energy Recovery Ltd against Essex County Council’s decision to refuse the following planning application:
Description of development: Development of an Energy Recovery Facility, ancillary office block and associated infrastructure
Address: Land to the south of Archers Fields Close, Burnt Mills Industrial Estate, Basildon, SS13 1DN

The Inquiry will be held in-person at the St George’s Suite, the Basildon Centre, St Martin’s Square, Basildon, SS14 1DL, commencing at 10:00am on Tuesday 10th June 2025. The Inquiry is currently anticipated to sit for up to seven days (10th, 11th and 12th June 2025 and 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th June 2025).
