Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 
The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction) 

(2 To 56 Bridge Road & Service Road For 400 To 550 Topsham Road, Exeter) Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians & Parking 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 9/6/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 25/7/25. 

No person shall proceed on the sections of Affected Paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths or cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park on the road adjacent to those lengths of paths. 

Roads affected: 2 To 56 Bridge Road & Service Road For 400 To 550 Topsham Road, Exeter, Footway, Carriageway, From Outside No. 2 To Outside No. 400 & Footway, Carriageway, From Outside No. 200 To Junction With Glasshouse Lane. There Is No Alternative Route. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Replace Old Metallic Gas Mains With New Plastic Mains & Renew/Transfer Approx. 33 Service Pipes To Adjacent Premises.

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 19/5/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 25/7/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: BRENTON ROAD, CLAPHAM. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road Past Higher Brenton Farm, Road From The Haven To Holly Oaks, Road Past Yeo Farm, Road Past South View Farm, St Georges Terrace, Road Past Barton Cottage, Waybrook Lane, Road From Shillingford Cottage To Wyndburgh, Shillingford Road, Chudleigh Road, Road Over Waybrook Bridge, Road From Exeter Road To Peamore Truck Centre, Exeter Road & Vice Versa. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REPAIRS OF A COLLAPSED WALL/BANK.

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: COMMERCIAL ROAD & QUAY HILL, EXETER, ONE WAY SUSPENSION ON QUAY HILL. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -COMMERCIAL ROAD, A377, A3015, LOWER COOMBE STREET, QUAY HILL, COMMERCIAL ROAD & VICE VERSA.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: DRAINAGE.
