NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Deadmill Lane, Lower Swainswick from its junction with Ferndale Road extending north for approximately 75 metres. USRN: 47913412.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable contractors to carry out building repairs from the 2nd June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for SIX WEEKS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for the siting of a crane for delivery of new substation plant on behalf of National Grid on the 3rd June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

• Temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of High Street, Upper Weston, Bath from a point outside 39 High Street extending east to a point outside 25 High Street. USRN: 47900077.
• Introduce a temporary suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of High Street, Upper Weston, Bath from its junction with Crown Road extending east to its junction with Crown Road/Weston Lane.
This will allow traffic to travel in both directions so that residents can access/exit Trafalgar Road via High Street and access/exit either end of High Street, Upper Weston.
