Halton - Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the following Orders under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (LEASIDE, RUNCORN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Road(s) affected: Leaside, Runcorn - footpath at the rear of numbers 38-42
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road.
Date Order to come into effect: 4 June 2025
Maximum duration of the Order: 6 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: the closure is for excavation works for 20m of new duct and will be over approximately 3 days. For further information contact: 07415 406027.
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (KECKWICK LANE, DARESBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Road(s) affected: Keckwick Lane, Daresbury
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road.
Date Order to come into effect: 2 June 2025
Maximum duration of the Order: 18 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: the closure is to allow for new utilities and infrastructure to be installed on behalf of Redrow and will be over a period of approximately 3 months. For further information contact: 01254 830 113.
Reason for making the Orders: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the roads should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.
Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
