What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
CROMWELL LANE, BURTON GREEN
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to complete carriageway crossings.
Order Commences: 19 May 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: Cromwell Lane, Hodgetts Lane, Nailcote Lane, Spencers Lane, Tanners Lane, Station Avenue, Westwood Heath Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTWAY OLD WARWICK ROAD AND EUROPA WAY,
LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic between signalized crossing on Old Warwick Road and the signalised crossing on Europa Way.
Reason for Order: To enable works in association with WCC3 Scheme.
Order Commences: 20 May 2025 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Princes Drive, Myton Road, Europa Way and vice versa.

PUBLIC CYCLEWAY SYDENHAM DRIVE, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Cycleway closed to all traffic from a point outside 33 Padmore Court.
Reason for Order: To enable works to lay a new gas service.
Order Commences: 21 May 2025 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: Cyclists to dismount.

ROUNCIL LANE. RED HOUSE LANE & SCHOOL LANE, BEAUSALE
Order Effect: Rouncil Lane – closed between its junctions with Honiley Road and Kites Nest Lane, Red House Farm Lane – from outside Lane Farm House to junction with Honiley Road, School Lane – between its junctions with School Croft and Honiley Road.
Reason for Order: To enable works for new connections. Please Note: Work will be completed in phases with only one road closed at any time.
Order Commences: 19 May 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: Red house Lane closure – Rouncil Lane, Kites Nest Lane, Hawkes Barn Lane, Red House Farm Lane and vice versa. Rouncil Lane closure – Rouncil Lane, Dirty Lane, Heath Terrace, Honiley Road and vice versa. School Lane closure – Honiley Road, Clattyland Lane, Haseley Knob, School Lane and vice versa.

A4189 FRIARS STREET, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.30hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: A4189, B4463 (Watery Lane, Hampton Road), A46 Hampton Road Island, A46 Longbridge Spur (Eastbound/Westbound), A46 Longbridge Island, A429 (Stratford Road, West Street), Bowling Green Street and vice versa.

BUBBENHALL ROAD, BUBBENHALL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair sewer lining.
Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Watery Lane, Leamington Road, Coventry Road, Bubbenhall Road and vice versa.

HAMPTON ROAD, BUDBROOKE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Old School Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable works for water sluice valve renewal.
Order Commences: 3 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hampton Road, Old School Lane and vice versa.

MILL LANE AND CROFT LANE, SHREWLEY
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works to install new ducting and clear blockages.
Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Mill Lane, Hockley Road, Five Ways Road, Stoney Lane and vice versa.

ROWINGTON GREEN, ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Queen Drive to Quarry Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable works to install a new Boundary box.
Order Commences: 5 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Rowington Green, Quarry Lane, Five Ways Road, Old Warwick Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03000 080 820.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(GLASSHOUSE LANE AND DENEWOOD WAY, KENILWORTH)
(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (VARIATION NO. 1) ORDER 2025
SHARED USE FOOTWAY/CYCLE TRACK GLASSHOUSE LANE & STANSFIELD GROVE, KENILWORTH
Warwickshire County Council proposes to:
– vary the existing ‘The Warwickshire County Council (Glasshouse Lane and Denewood Way, Kenilworth) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023’, to remove the 30mph speed limit imposed on the length of road described in Schedule 1 below by virtue of the Order, due to that length of road becoming a restricted road, with a 30mph speed limit being imposed, by virtue of a new system of streetlighting; and
– construct a shared use footway/cycle track for use by pedestrians and cyclists, pursuant to Section 65 of the Highways Act 1980, on the lengths of road described in Schedule 2 below.
A copy of this notice, the proposed variation Order, the Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order and for the proposals, can be inspected at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours and are available to view on the website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district.

(i) From a point 25 metres south-west of the access leading to property numbers 91 to 111 Glasshouse Lane, northeastwards then north-westwards for a distance of 420 metres.
