(Littlehampton and Lyminster & Crossbush: A284 and Lyminster Road) (Temporary Speed Limit) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to temporarily enact a 50 MPH speed limit on the new Lyminster Bypass (A284) from 30M north of its junction with Santa Monica Way, northwards to 90m north of its junction with
B2284 Lyminster Road; and a 40MPH speed limit on the A284 from 90M north of its junction with B2284 Lyminster Road, northwards to its junction with the A27.
The Order also enacts a 30MPH speed limit on B2284 Lyminster Road from its junction with the A284, southwards to 165M north of its junction with Old Mead Road.
The order is needed enact safe speed limits on the newly opened Lyminster Bypass until a permanent Order can be brought into effect.
The Order came into effect on 9 May 2025 and will remain in effect for up to 18 months or until a permanent Order is made, whichever is earlier.

(Worthing: Various Roads) (Worthing Heat Project Phase 2)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will to introduce temporary traffic restriction on roads in Worthing as follows:
UNION PLACE: to temporarily close the road from its junction with High Street, westwards for 20M. While this restriction is in force, the one-way traffic restriction and prohibition of right turns at the western end of the road will be suspended to maintain access. During these works all on-street parking in the road will be temporarily prohibited at any time.
HIGH STREET: to temporarily close the road to northbound traffic between its junctions with Charlecote Road and Lyndhurst Road.
RICHMOND ROAD: to temporarily close the road to westbound traffic between its junctions with Portland Road and Chapel Road and to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time throughout both sides of the same length of road. The order also permits the temporary prohibition of right turns from Richmond Road into Chapel Road during part of the works.
These restrictions are needed to allow infrastructure for the Worthing Heat Network to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 2 June 2025 and remain in force until 27 July 2025. Works will be conducted in phases and individual elements of the above restrictions may not be in place for the whole of the operative period of the order. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Angmering and Patching: Selden Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Selden Lane in the parishes of Angmering and Patching throughout its entire length.
The road closure is needed to allow telecommunications cables to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 2 June 2025 and remain in force until 16 June 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Adur District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2009) (Shoreham-By-Sea: Old Shoreham Road Amendment)
Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to formalise an existing bus stop on the western side of Old Shoreham Road in Shoreham-By-Sea approximately 300M south of its junction with Upper Shoreham Road. The restriction applied to the bus stop will be to prohibit stopping by any vehicles other than buses between 0700 hours and 1900 hours on any day.
The Order also prohibits waiting at any time (introduces double yellow lines) either side of the formalised bus stop.
