ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(WHINNEY LANE, STREETHOUSE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)  ORDER (NO 113) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to renew level crossing surface to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Whinney Lane, Streethouse. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length  of Whinney Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Mill Lane, New Road, B6133, Whinney Lane &  vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th May 2025 from 23.00 hours to 19th May 2025 at 04.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(STATION LANE, FEATHERSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 114) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to lift & replace deck units  for investigation to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Station Lane, Featherstone. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Station Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Station Lane, Green Lane, Common Side Lane, Wakefield Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th May 2025 from 23.00 hours to 19th May 2025 at 04.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(KESWICK DRIVE, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 116) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for footway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Keswick Drive, Castleford between No. 85 and  No. 95. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Keswick Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Keswick Drive, Borrowdale Drive, Grange Road, Watling Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 19th May 2025 to 29th May 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TOMBRIDGE CRESCENT, KINSLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 119) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for new water connections  to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Tombridge Crescent, Kinsley from number 95 Tombridge Crescent to 102 Tombridge Crescent. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Tombridge Crescent.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion. 

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 19th May 2025 at 08.00 hours  to 23rd May 2025 to 17.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(HIGH STREET, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 125) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the WCity of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to uplift and re rail rails at the site to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: High Street, Castleford for approximately 20 metres either side of the level crossing. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of High Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Albion Street, Wood Street, A6032, A639,  Lumley Street, High Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 31st May 2025 at 20.00 hours  to 1st June 2025 at 08.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(ARNCLIFFE DRIVE, FERRYBRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 127) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for drainage repairs to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Arncliffe Drive, Ferrybridge at the junction with Pontefract Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads  at their junctions the closed length of Arncliffe Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Kingsley Avenue, Pontefract Road & vice versa.  PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 2nd June 2025 at 09.30 hours  to 13th June 2025 at 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MUIRFIELD AVENUE, FEATHERSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER (NO 129) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield by reason of works to allow for footpath reconstruction to be carried out on  or near Footpath Featherstone 13, rear of No. 16 The Copse to rear of  No. 2 Muirfield Avenue, and the likelihood of danger arising to the public, intend not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order  the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of public footpath.

Alternative route for pedestrians: Gleneagles Road, Park Road, Willow Road & vice versa.

The order comes into operation on 2nd June 2025 at 07.30 hours to  27th June 2025 at 15.30 hours.
