What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(LOWER LANE, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Lane, Cleckheaton from a point  outside property no. 13 Lower Lane to a point outside property no.

58 Lower Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lower Lane, Upper Lane, Quarry Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 19 May 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 13 June 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LONGCAUSEWAY, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PRHIBITION OF TRAFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Longcauseway, Dewsbury from its junction with from Wakefield Old Road to its junction with Rishworth Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition

shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Crackenedge Lane, Corporation Street. It is intended that the closure will commence at 08:00 hours on Friday 6 June 2025 and will remain in force until 16:00 hours on 1 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SANDS LANE, MIRFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Sands Lane, Mirfield from a point outside Cotewell Mews to a point outside Calder Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No Diversion as dead end, Access maintained for residents.

It is intended that the closure will

commence on Wednesday 4 June 2025 and will remain in force until 6 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for 18 months if necessary).

(SCOPSLEY LANE, SCOPSLEY GREEN, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Scopsley Lane, Scopsley Green from its junction with  Whitley Road Junction to a point outside property no 18 Scopsley Road and to the end of Scopsley Green PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No Diversion as access will be maintained for residents.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 5 June 2025 from 08:00 hours and will remain in force until 18:00 hours on 9 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(COMMERCIAL STREET, MARKET PLACE, BRANCH ROAD, BATLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the lengths of Commercial Street, Market Place, Branch Road, Batley from the junction of Branch Road/ Market Place to a point approximately outside number 90 Commercial Street  PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Upper Commercial Street, Mayman Lane, Wellington Street, Wards Hill, Cross

Street, Commercial Street and vice versa.    It is intended that the closure will

commence on Monday 2 June 2025 and remain in force until 28 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FIXBY LANE, WHITLEY, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fixby Lane, Whitley, Dewsbury from adjacent to junction of Mellor Hill to adjacent the junction of Mellor Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Fixby Lane, Briestfield Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Falhouse Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 3 June 2025 07:30 hours and remain in force until 11 June 2025 17:30 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
