A6 Chapel Street/Crescent - Suspension of Bus Lanes Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days Salford City Council (A6 Chapel Street/Crescent, Salford) (Suspension of Bus Lanes) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following restrictions. Temporary Suspension of Bus Lanes on A6 Chapel Street/Crescent - Westbound bus lane on A6 Chapel Street/Crescent, at the junction of Oldfield Road, Salford, M5 4PF. The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. The order is intended to come into operation on 2nd June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 13th July 2025. The closure will be in place 24 hours each day.
A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
