Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Holly Cottage to Rainshaw Farm,
Hopperton; New Road, Allerton Park; Allerton Park Lane, Allerton Park; Kings
Road, Harrogate; Springfield Avenue, Harrogate; Woodfield Road, Harrogate;
Woodfield Grove, Harrogate; Woodfield Drive, Harrogate; Elm Road,
Harrogate; Dene Park, Harrogate; Belford Road, Harrogate; Belford Place,
Harrogate; Belford Square, Harrogate; Tower Street, Harrogate; Coppice
Drive, Harrogate; Hollins Mews, Harrogate; Hollins Road, Harrogate; Portland
Crescent, Harrogate; Chain Bar Lane, Killinghall; Firby Lane, Ripon; Moss
Arcade, Ripon & Victoria Grove, Ripon for a temporary period (subject to
access to premises) between 15/05/25 & 31/10/25, due to Resurfacing works
works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 15/05/26. The closure
period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be

40 Mph Speed Limit, Menwith Hill Road & B6451, Menwith Hill, Order
2025 Notice is hereby given that on 09/05/25 The North Yorkshire Council
made an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit
any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any
length of road specified:- Darley Carr (B6451/2/40) from a point 110 metres
North of the centreline of the Menwith Hill Road junction with the B6451, to a
point 150 metres South of the Steeplebush Gate of RAF Menwith Hill on
Menwith Hill Road towards Dangerous Corner. Menwith Hill Road (C252/1/40)
in its entirety from its junction with the B6451 to its junction with Stumps Lane
(U3287/2/30). A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 19/05/25,
may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library,
Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EG during normal office hours from
15/05/25 until 20/06/25 & also viewed online at

www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the
validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is
not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any
Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order,
you may, within 6 weeks of 09/05/25 make application to the High Court for
the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Road Rear of Queens Road, Harrogate,
Order 2025, No. 176 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle
from using Road Rear of Queens Road, Harrogate for a temporary period
(subject to access to premises) between 04/06/25 & 29/06/25, due to
installation of ducting for a major scheme. However, the max duration of this
Order is until 35 days. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a

Asenby; Cundall Road, Asenby; Cundall Ave, Asenby; Jamesville Way,
Asenby; Church Street, Goldsborough; Ralph Garth, Tockwith; Marston Road,
Tockwith; Westfield Road, Tockwith; Angram Road, Long Marston; Saddlers
Way, Long Marston; Springfield Rise, Great Ouseburn & Main Street, Little
Ouseburn for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between
01/06/25 & 30/11/25, due to Footway Slurry Sealing works. However, the max
duration of this Order is until 01/11/26. The closure period will be indicated by
traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where
