ORDER 2025
EXTENSION NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by the Leicestershire County Council on 06/02/2025 and which came into effect on 20/02/2025 will be continued in force until 31/07/2025, or until the works have been completed. The effect of the Order is to continue to allow for the closure of that length of road as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. The road is being closed for public safety to allow L4 Civil Engineering on behalf of Burmor Construction to undertake S278 works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 09/06/2025 and have a maximum duration of 8 weeks. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow National Grid to undertake new electricity supply works. The proposed diversion route will be via: St Marys Rd, The Square, High St, Leicester Rd, Harborough Rd, Market Harborough Bypass & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 24/05/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake boundary box installation works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: North End, Hunts Ln & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 19/05/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake long comm pipe cut off & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Mowsley Ln, A4304 High St & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 19/05/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Welford Rd, Shearsby Rd, Arnesby Rd & vice versa.
