What is happening?

Notice of Making The District of Adur (Off- Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2011(Amendment No. 7) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the District Council of Adur made on 8th May 2025 The District of Adur (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2011 (Amendment No. 7) Order 2025. The Order will come into force on 6th June 2025.
The Effect of the Order
The Amendment shall have the effect:
To Amend Article 30 to include motorcycles to pay for parking
To delete the exemption for motorcycles under Part 4 Exemptions: Exemption from daily charge Article 46(iii)
A copy of the Amended Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA and details are also available on the Council’s website.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or any provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may within six weeks of the 8th May 2025 apply for that purpose to the High Court.
