What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A615 NOTTINGHAM ROAD, TANSLEY
WHEN: 27 May to 04 June 2025
WHERE: Nottingham Road, Tansley between Jct. with Alders Lane and Jct. with Church Street.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to broken sewer pipe.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road, Stretton Road, Red Hill, Lickpenny Lane, Holestone Gate Road, Amber Lane, Chesterfield Road, Lime Tree Road, Matlock Green, Alfreton Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
