What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Hillhouse Road, Head of Muir from 09:30 until 18:00 on 19/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Hillhouse Road, Head of Muir from a point adjacent to Myothill Road in a southerly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.

Hillview Road, Bonnybridge from 07:30 on 19/05/25 until 17:00 on 23/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Hillview Road, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to number 34 in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B816, A803, B816 or vice versa.

Slamannan Road, Avonbridge from 07:30 hours on 20/05/2025 until 17:00 hours on 22/05/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes B825, Slamannan Road, Avonbridge from the junction with Main Street to the B825
2. The alternative route is: B825, B8022, B803, Lionthorn Road, Falkirk Road, B8028, and vice versa.

Westerton Road, Grangemouth from 07:00 on 20/05/25 until 17:00 on 24/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Location filming to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Westerton Road, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to Powdrake Roundabout in a southerly direction for approximately 300 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A904, Oxgang Road, Westerton Road or vice versa.

Hazel Road, Banknock from 09:30 until 18:00 on 22/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Hazel Road, Banknock from a point adjacent to number 55 in a westerly direction for approximately 45 metres or thereby.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Seabegs Crescent, Bonnybridge from 09:30 until 18:00 on 16/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Seabegs Crescent, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Seabegs Road in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.

Hamilton Crescent, Maddiston from 08:00 on 19/05/25 until 23:59 on 30/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Hamilton Crescent, Maddiston from a point adjacent to number 8 in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
