What is happening?

North Lincolnshire Council

(Winterton Road, Scunthorpe)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

On 12th Feb 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Winterton Rd, Scunthorpe. 

This Order took effect on 15th Feb 2025 and will be effective until 14th Aug 2026. 

Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (electricity connection) necessitating the closure of Winterton Rd, Scunthorpe from 8am 23rd May-5pm 2nd June 2025 (but varied if necessary due to any unforeseen circumstances). 

The diversion is A1029 (Brigg Rd) A18 (Queensway) A18 (Kingsway) Scotter Rd, Ferry Rd, Warren Rd and reverse.
