NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Windmill Lane, North Reddish - Mill Lane to Thornley Lane South. Diversion via Thornley Lane South, Wilton Street, Thornley Lane North, Gorton Road and Longford Road.
Windmill Lane, North Reddish - Mill Lane to Thornley Lane South. Diversion via Mill Lane, Gorton Road, Thornley Lane North, Wilton Street and Thornley Lane South. Appleby Road, Gatley - Full Extent.
Diversion via Foxland Road and Silverdale Road, and vice versa.
Dean Lane, Hazel Grove - Elton Drive to Cavendish Road. Diversion for vehicles and HGVs under 4.5m high: Chester Road, Grundey Street, A6 London Road and Macclesfield Road, and vice versa. Parkway, Cheadle Heath - Park View to Stockport Road.
Diversion via Park View, Kenilworth Road and Stockport Road, and vice versa. Oakland Avenue, Offerton - Dialstone Lane to No. 31. Diversion via Dialstone Lane, Wellfield Road and Oakland Avenue, and vice versa.
Coronation Street, South Reddish - Full Extent. No Diversion. Access to Locals and Businesses Only.

Abergele Street, Cale Green - Full Extent. Diversion via Winifred Road, Buxton Road and Kennerley Road, and vice versa.
Swann Lane - First 25m at junction with Ravenoak Road. Diversion via Swann Lane, Hulme Hall Road, Church Road and Ravenoak Road, and vice versa. Ravenoak Park Road. - First 25m at junction with Ravenoak Road. No Diversion. Local Access Only.
Beechfield Road - First 25m at junction with Ravenoak Road. Diversion via Beechfield Road, Glandon Drive, Hollythorn Avenue, Ack Lane West and Ravenoak Road, and vice versa.
Church Road - Tesco to Styal Road. Diversion via Church Road, Northenden Road, Altrincham Road, Park Road and Styal Road, and vice versa.
Styal Road - Stonepail Road to Church Road. Diversion via Park Road, Altrincham Road, Brownley Road, Hollyhedge Road and Styal Road, and vice versa. Etchells Road - Turves Road to A34 Bridge.
Diversion via Turves Road, Cheadle Road, Schools Hill, Wilmslow Road and Etchells Road, and vice versa. Turves Road - Chedlee Drive to Etchells Road. Diversion via Turves Road, Cheadle Road, Schools Hill, Wilmslow Road and Etchells Road, and vice versa.

Stuart Road - Full Length. No Diversion Access to Locals and Businesses Only. Lomond Road - Styal Road to Boundary. Diversion via Styal Road, Simonsway, Peel Hall Road and Lomond Road, and vice versa.
Offerton Road Layby, Offerton/Hazel Grove - Full Length, For the Storage of Stone Chipping Stocks for up to 26 weeks - No Diversion. Selby Street, South Reddish - Full Extent.
Diversion via Kingsley Avenue, Horace Grove and Manchester Road, and vice versa. Westmorland Drive, Brinnington - Full Extent.
Diversion via Middlesex Road and Northumberland Road, and vice versa., whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary to allow for planned maintenance works.
It is estimated these works will last up to 3 weeks except for Offerton Road layby which may last for up to 26 weeks.
This Order is to come into operation on the 23 May 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Ref: JO/8519057.
