THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (NEAR SANDIACRE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363 has made an Order on the A52 Trunk Road, near Sandiacre, in the County of Nottinghamshire, to enable traffic signal upgrading, resurfacing and associated works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to impose a 40 miles per hour speed restriction on the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout junction of Bostocks Lane, the M1 Junction 25 slip roads and the slip roads leading to and from the A52, near Sandiacre.
The work is expected to start on Tuesday 27 May 2025 and continue for approximately two months. The Order will come into force on 20 May 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or special forces purposes, will be exempt from the speed restriction.

THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (PINXTON INTERCHANGE)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) has made an order on the A38 Trunk Road, at Pinxton, in the County of Derbyshire, to allow upgrading and resurfacing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to –
(1) impose a 40 miles per hour speed restriction on the circulatory carriageway of the A38 at its roundabout junction with Mansfield Road and the slip roads leading to and from the M1 at Junction 28, near Pinxton (Pinxton Interchange);
(2) close the two laybys located in the centre of Pinxton Interchange.
The speed restriction and the layby closures will be in operation from 20:00 hours on Tuesday 27 May 2025, for 24 hours per day, and will continue for approximately ten weeks. The Order will come into force on 20 May 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions and closures. Vehicles being used for special forces purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (ALFRETON TO PINXTON, DERBYSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A38 Trunk Road, between Alfreton and Pinxton, in the County of Derbyshire, to allow vegetation clearance and routine maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at different times, the laybys adjacent to the northbound carriageway of the A38 from its junction with the entry slip road leading from its roundabout junction with the A61 Derby Road and the B6179 Derby Road, at Alfreton, to its roundabout junction with the M1 Junction 28 slip roads and Mansfield Road, at Pinxton.
The work is expected to start on Monday 9 June 2025 and continue for approximately three weeks. The laybys will be closed between 14:00 hours and 06:00 hours on weekdays only. The Order will come into force on 2 June 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTIONS 14(1)(a) AND (7)
THE A50 TRUNK ROAD (BETWEEN UTTOXETER AND OAKS GREEN)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no.9346363) intends to make an Order on the A50 Trunk Road between Uttoxeter and Oaks Green, in the Counties of Staffordshire and Derbyshire, to enable bridge maintenance and safety barrier replacement works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to, at different times. –
(1) impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the westbound carriageway of the A50 between points
550 metres and 10 metres east of the centreline of Marston Lane overbridge, at Doveridge;
(2) impose a 40 miles per hour speed limit on –
(a) the westbound carriageway of the A50 from a point 10 metres east of the centreline of Marston Lane overbridge, to a point 20 metres east of its roundabout junction with the A518 Derby Road (Derby Road Roundabout), at Uttoxeter; and
(b) the eastbound carriageway of the A50 from a point 150 metres east of its roundabout junction with the B5030, at Uttoxeter, to a point 485 metres west of the centreline of Upwoods Road overbridge, at Doveridge;
(3) close –
(a) the eastbound carriageway of the A50 from its junction with Derby Road Roundabout, to its junction with the slip road leading from the dumbbell roundabout junction with the A515, Derby Road and Main Road (Ashbourne Interchange), at Oaks Green;
(b) the westbound carriageway of the A50 from its junction with the slip road leading to Ashbourne Interchange, to its junction with Derby Road Roundabout;
(c) the slip road leading to the westbound carriageway of the A50 from Ashbourne Interchange;
(d) the link road leading to the westbound carriageway of the A50 from Marston Lane, at Doveridge; and
(e) the laybys adjacent to the eastbound carriageway of the A50 approximately 280 metres west and 850 metres east of Derby Road Roundabout; and
(4) close the eastbound carriageway of the A50 from a point 120 metres east of Derby Road Roundabout, to a point 485 metres west of the centreline of Upwoods Road overbridge, at Doveridge, and allow traffic to use lane 2 of the westbound carriageway in contraflow manner;
The work is expected to start on Thursday 5 June 2025 and continue for approximately five weeks. The closures at (3)(a), (b), (c) and (d) will be in operation overnight only between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours. The speed restrictions, layby closures and contraflow will be in operation from 05:00 hours on Thursday 5 June 2025 and will continue for twenty-four hours per day, for the duration of the works. The Order will come into force on 2 June 2025.
Any vehicle being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions, and closures. Special forces vehicles will be exempt from the speed restriction and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
Diversion routes via the A522, the A521, the A52 and the A515 and vice versa will be signed.
