ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Embleton Road, Methley, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because Yorkshire Water infrastructure/improvement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Embleton Road, Methley, Leeds, between its junctions with Watergate and Embleton Road. No diversion will be in place, as there is no through road and access is for residents only. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 23rd June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 14th September 2025. The closure will be in place between 08:00 and 18:00 hours on each day. (Somerville Mount/Avenue/Green & Skelwith Approach/Walk, Seacroft, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because new water mains and transfer service works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along sections of Somerville Mount, Avenue & Green or Skelwith Approach and Walk, at an time when works are being undertaken. Where necessary, diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available and signposted The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 9th June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The overall works are expected to be completed by Sunday 14th September 2025. The closures will be in place between 08:00 and 18:00 hours each day. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because bridge joint renewal works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Wakefield Road, Rothwell, Leeds, between its junctions with Savannah Way and Wood Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Wakefield Road, Leeds Road To Pontefract Road Link, Leeds Road, Styebank Lane, Haigh Road, Wood Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 9th June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 18th June 2025. The closure will be in place between 20:00 hours in the evening and 06:00 hours the following morning. (Westbrook Lane, Horsforth, Leeds)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because re-instatement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days), to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Westbrook Lane, Horsforth, at its junction with Brownberrie Lane. In addition, the one-way system in effect on Westbrook Lane, running between Westdale House and property No.16 will be suspended for the duration of the works, for the purpose of maintaining access for residents. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Brownberrie Lane, St Margaret’s Road & Westbrook Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Notice Is Hereby Given that because bridge joint renewal works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Sharp Lane, Robin Hood, Leeds, between its junctions with Sharp House Road and Leeds Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Leeds Road, Thorpe Lower Lane, Middleton Lane, Towcester Avenue, St Georges Road, Ring Road Middleton, Sharp Lane, Throstle Road North and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 2nd June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Notice Is Hereby Given that because gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along St Marks Street, Leeds, at its junction with Woodhouse Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available: (Northbound) via Woodhouse Lane, Rampart Road, Cathcart Street, St Mark’s Road, St Mark’s Street; and (Southbound) via Woodhouse Lane, St Marks Road, St Marks Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 27th May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because new service connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along that part of Lowther Drive, Garforth, Leeds in the Garforth & Swillington Ward, that runs adjacent to property numbers 25-62 Lowther Grove. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Lowther Drive, Lowther Road, Lowther Grove and vice versa. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 27th May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 2nd June 2025. The closure will be in place for 24hrs on each day. (Tong Road, Leeds)

(Temporary Contraflow System & Lane Closure) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because new service connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary contraflow system along Tong Road, Leeds in, between its junctions with Albany Street to the side of Whingate Court. This contraflow system will allow traffic to flow through the bus lane and middle lane of Tong Road, with the third lane being closed to traffic (other than works vehicles), due to onsite works occupying the third lane. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 27 May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thursday 5 June 2025. The contraflow and lane closure will be in place for 24hrs on each day. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice Is Hereby Given that because bridge joint renewal works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along that part of Longthorpe Lane, Thorpe, Leeds running adjacent to property numbers 65-95. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:Leeds Road, Thorpe Lower Lane, Lingwell Gate Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 26th May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thursday 5th June 2025. The closure will be in place on weekdays only from 20:00 hours in the evening until 06:00 hours the following morning.
