Road Closed to Vehicles for a ATTRO Security Barrier Sec.14 (1)(A) & 22C&D RTRA Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA)
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea hereby makes the following Order under s14 & s22 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA) as amended, and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in road(s) cited below.
1. This order shall come into operation on the date and time specified below in the schedule to this Order.
2. No person shall cause any vehicle to enter the prescribed area on the dates and times specified.
3. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed on the section of road on the date and time specified in the schedule.
4. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
5. Local access/egress for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible.
6. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
7. Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
8. This order shall be in operation between the times and dates specified in the schedule or until normal operations can be resumed whichever is sooner.

Schedule
• Franklins Row is to be closed at the junction of Royal Hospital Road (B302). Diverted traffic may use Franklins Row, Turks Row, Lower Sloane Street, Royal Hospital Road.
• The “Bull-Ring” Gate on Chelsea Embankment (A3212).
There is no diversion route possible for this closure.
• To be closed from 06:00 hours on Monday 19th May 2025 until 23:59 hours on Saturday 24th May 2025 for vehicles and pedestrians (as required).
