What is happening?

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(Various Roads, Huntingdon) (Speed Limits) (Consolidation) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that on 7th May 2025 Cambridgeshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this is to introduce a 20mph speed limit on most residential roads in Huntingdon.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 7th May 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Various Roads, Catworth) (Speed Limits) (Consolidation) Order 202-

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order will be to introduce 40mph speed limits on lengths of B660 Fox Road and B660 Station Road, Catworth.
