What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WIHDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(A329 HIGH STREET (PART), ASCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: Prohibit Waiting on that length of A329 High Street, Ascot, on both sides of the carriageway, from outside and opposite the entrance to HMR Car Park in an eastward direction to its junction with Station Hill. The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely the installation and removal of footway bridges for Royal Ascot event and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will come into operation from 18:00 hours on Sunday 1 June until 18:00 hours on Wednesday 4 of June 2025 and again from 00:01 hours on Monday 23 June until 18:00 hours on Wednesday 25 June 2025. The restriction shall apply when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
