PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING
PLACES ORDER
Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to make the North Lanarkshire Council
(Various Streets, North Lanarkshire) Disabled Persons’ Parking Places Order (“the Order”) in terms of the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (Scotland) Order 2009 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to establish Disabled Persons’ Parking Places at the locations identified in this Notice. The effect of the Order will be to establish Disabled Persons’ Parking Places and to make it illegal to park any vehicle in any one of the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places detailed below, unless the vehicle is displaying an appropriate and properly authorised Blue Badge issued by a Local Authority:-

Any person wishing to object to the proposal should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Chief Officer (Legal and Democratic), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street,
Motherwell ML1 1AB or by emailing troconsultations@northlan.gov.uk by Wednesday, 11 June 2025 and must contain the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made..
