What is happening?
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2013.
NOTICE PUBLISHED UNDER REGULATION 7(2) RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT TO INCLUDE ACCESS, ROADS, OPEN SPACE, LANDSCAPING, DRAINAGE AND OTHER ASSOCIATED WORKS AT LAND AT KILWINNING ROAD, STEWARTON PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION BY THE PROSPECTIVE APPLICANT
Persimmon (West Scotland) hereby give notice that it is proposed to submit a planning application in respect of the development described above on land at Kilwinning Road, Stewarton
A first public consultation event took place on the 24th of April at the Stewarton Area Centre and online at www. kilwinningroadplanning.co.uk.
A second consultation event was previously advertised as being due to be held on the 20th of May, again at the Stewarton Area Centre and at www.kilwinningroadplanning. co.uk.
Unfortunately, this scheduled second event has had to be postponed and will no longer take place on the 20th of May. Instead, the second event will now take place at the Stewarton Area Centre, Avenue Street in Stewarton at 4 - 8pm on Tuesday the 10th of June 2025.
The second event is primarily about providing feedback regarding the views gathered during the preceding preapplication consultation, including from the first event and via the project website.
The information presented at each of the two events will remain available to view online at www. kilwinningroadplanning.co.uk from the 24th of April until the 17th of June.
Comments can be made at the forthcoming event or by writing or emailing the agent acting for Persimmon (West Scotland) at the following address:

Comments on the proposals should be submitted by any of the above-mentioned means by the 17th of June 2025.
This notice does not relate to a planning application.
Comments should not be made to East Ayrshire Council at this time. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to East Ayrshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
