(Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Widemouth Bay. This prohibition is necessary for pole recovery works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay between grid reference SS 20291 01043 and the junction with the A39. An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st May 2025 to 22nd May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being B3254 Between Tremarsh And Ladycross, Launceston between grid references SX 31559 88470 and SX 31795 88407 for approximately 252 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road pole replacement and pole testing works. The Order will come into operation on 22nd May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 23rd May 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 5th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2025 to 6th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for cattlegrid repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2025 to llth July 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Road From Bowithick Road To Trebray Road, St Clether, Launceston between grid reference SX 19091 82659 and the junction with Trebray Road. An alternative route will be signed on site. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being County Road, Upton, Bude between grid reference SS 21099:04815 and the junction of St Anns Hill. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the highway to carry out repairs to railing, parapet and concrete works. The Order will come into operation on 1st May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 4th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 10th April 2025 for a period of 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
