Bloemfontein Road/Bloemfontein Avenue/ Coningham Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Electrical Supply Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(BLOEMFONTEIN ROAD/BLOEMFONTEIN AVENUE/ CONINGHAM ROAD)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate electrical supply works in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.
2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a western direction in Bloemfontein Avenue from No 10 to the junction with Bloemfontein Road.
3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Ellerslie Road and Bloemfontein Road.
4. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Bloemfontein Road from the junction with Bloemfontein Avenue to the junction with Uxbridge Road.
5. An alternative route for traffic in article 4 shall be provided via Uxbridge Road, Wood Lane and South Africa Road.
6. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Conningham Road from No.182 to the junction with Uxbridge Road.
7. An alternative route for traffic in article 6 shall be provided via Uxbridge Road, Askew Road and Goldhawk Road.
8. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
9. The Order will come into operation on the 22nd May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
10. Works will commence on Thursday 22nd May 2025 and last until 11th June 2025. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
