TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD
ORDER 2025
On the 29th April 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Lochlibo Road (between Lochlibo Terrace and Kelburn Street), Barrhead, as well to prohibit parking on a section of Kelburn Street (from property no. 99-101 to Lochlibo Road), Barrhead, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works on the road, scheduled to be carried from Tuesday 27th May to Friday 6th June 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of Lochlibo Road and parking restrictions on Kelburn Street for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route: A736 Lochlibo Road – Househouse Brae – Main Street – Neilston Road and Vice Versa.
