PROPOSED SPEED LIMIT ORDER 20**

North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to implement Speed Restrictions on A73 Striling Road and B803 Greengairs Road, Airdrie as detailed undernoted.

A73 Stirling Road, Airdrie
That length of A73 Stirling Road, Airdrie, from a point 25 metres north of the extended north kerbline of B803 Raebog Road, northwards to a point 160 metres north of the extended north kerbline of B803 Greengairs Road, a distance of 1070 metres or thereby.

B803 Greengairs Road, Airdrie
That length of B803 Greengairs Road, Airdrie, from the extended east kerbline of the A73 Stirling Road to the extended northwest kerbline of Old Biggar Road, a distance of 274 metres or thereby.

In addition to the proposals outlined, the North Lanarkshire Council (A73 Stirling Road, Stand, Airdrie) (40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2004 will be revoked in its entirety.

Any person wishing to make representations in support of, or raise an objection to, the proposals must do so in writing to the Chief Officer (Legal and Democratic), North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or to the email address troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 11 June 2025 and must contain the name and address of the person making the representation/objection, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
