(NEWNHAM PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C40 Dean Road from near the property known as ‘Sunny Bank’ for a distance of approximately 100 metres.The reason for the said closure is for water works by Severn Trent Water.The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 21st May 2025 until 16:00hrs on 22nd May 2025 only or until the works have been completed. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C9 Parawell Lane from its junction with Coleford Lane to outside the property known as ‘Shreaves House’ for a distance of approximately 100 metres.The reason for the said closure is for new power connection works.The said road is expected to be closed from 19th May 2025 until 23rd May 2025 only or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS TOWNS AND PARISHES) (FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule on the PDF attached.

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for Ash Dieback Tree Felling works.There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 4th June 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the closure and restriction of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required.
