REEPHAM – B1145 Station Road from its junction with Market Place for 85m northwards to facilitate new duct installation works between 19:00 and 23:00 from 12th to 20th May 2025 (may continue until 1st July 2025). Alternative route is via: A149 High Road, B1152 Mill Lane/Heath Road/Main Road, A1064 Main Road/Norwich Road, A149 Norwich Road/Main Road (Ashby with Oby, Repps with Bastwick, Rollesby, Fleggburgh, Ormesby St. Michael, Filby, Ormesby St. Margaret with Scratby, West Caister). NB: These works will be carried out in 3 phases and will be anticipated as follows. Phase 1 is between 19:00 and 05:00 from 16th to 19th May. Phase 2 is between 19:00 and 05:00 from 2nd to 5th June. Phase 3 is between 19:00 and 05:00 from 11th to 14th June. Phases 1–3 will take place for 1 night within the anticipated dates described.
SUFFIELD – Suffield Road from its junction with North Walsham Road to its junction with Hall Lane to facilitate pipeline works from 12th to 30th May 2025 (may continue until 11th July 2025). TRUNCH – Gimingham Road from its junction with Church Close to its junction with Trunch Road to facilitate drainage and carriageway patching works from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). BAWBURGH – C170 Stocks Hill from its junction with B1108 Watton Road for 250m northwards to facilitate cabling works from 13th to 19th May 2025 (may continue until 30th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Watton Road, Stocks Hill, Harts Lane, Long Lane, Dereham Road, A47, B1108 (Colney, Bawburgh, Little Melton, Costessey). The works promoter is BT.
BLO’ NORTON – Middle Road from 1000m east of its junction with Church Lane for 300m eastwards to facilitate overhead lines installation works on 15th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). Alternative route is via: The Banks, Fen Road, Thelnetham Road, Church Lane, The Street. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.
BRAMERTON – U78040 Mill Lane from its junction with C202 Kirby Road for 960m southwards to facilitate installation of new fibre network for BDUK from 13th to 19th May 2025 (may continue until 30th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Kirby Road, The Street, Framingham Lane, Bramerton Lane, A146 Loddon Road, Sallow Lane (Framingham Pigot, Kirby Bedon, Bramerton). BRIDGHAM – C148 The Street from 37m northeast of its junction with U32196 Bridgham Lane for 500m north-eastwards to facilitate water leak works from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). DEREHAM – C214 Theatre Street from its junction with U30118 Trinity Close to its junction with U30109 Emelson Close to facilitate water leak works from 14th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). DISS – B1077 Shelfanger Road from its junction with U7020 Factory Lane to its junction with Victoria Road to facilitate surface dressing preparation works from 18:00 on 12th May to 06:00 on 13th May 2025 (may continue until 24th June 2025). GREAT DUNHAM – C67A Castle Acre Road from 27m west of its junction with 3R037 Great Dunham Footpath 1 for 250m westwards to facilitate carriageway repairs from 12th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). GUIST – 1) B1110 Holt Road from 100m south of its junction with U35162 Guist Lane for 200m northwards and 2) U35162 Guist Lane from its junction with B1110 Holt Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate BT pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:00 on 14th May 2025 (may continue until 25th June 2025). LITTLE ELLINGHAM – U33141 Scoulton Road from 420m west of its junction with U33141 Barrack Row for 75m westwards to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works between 08:00 and 18:00 on 12th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025). Alternative route is via: U33041 Rockland Lane/Thieves Lane, B1077 Attleborough Road/Brayes Lane, C130 Bell Lane/Scoulton Road/Golden Corner, U33141 Scoulton Road and vice versa (Rocklands, Little Ellingham). NORTH PICKENHAM – Swaffham Road from 330m southeast of its junction with North Pickenham Road for 300m southeastwards to facilitate BT pole testing between 09:30 and 15:30 on 12th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025). Alternative route is via: Swaffham Road. The works promoter is BT.
SCOULTON – U32034 The Street from 300m west of its junction with C131 Woodrising Road for 50m westwards to facilitate Anglian Water fire hydrant replacement works from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025). Alternative route is via: U32034 Scoulton Road, B1108 Norwich Road, 33024 The Street and vice versa. The works promoter is Anglian Water.
SHROPHAM – Grange Farm Lane from its junction with Church Road for 150m westwards to facilitate pole testing works on 12th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025).
Alternative route is via: Church Road, Harling Road, Grange Farm Lane. The works promoter is BT.
TOPCROFT – U76384 Wash Lane from its junction with C368 Church Road for 526m north westwards to facilitate verge repairs from 15th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Low Road, Snakes Lane, Kings Road (Topcroft, Bedingham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
WATTON – U33001 Church Road from 29m south of its junction with 3R1142 Watton FP8 to its junction with 3R1145 Watton RB12 to facilitate Norfolk County Council works for a new footway from 12th May to 20th June 2025 only whilst signs indicate closures are in place (may continue until 20th December 2025). Alternative route is via: B1108 Norwich Road, U31832 Harvest Road, U33003 Watton Green, U33001 Town Green Road/Church Road and vice versa. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
NB – These works will take place across 3 phases in the period and only a section of the total length will be closed at a time.
YELVERTON – U76327 Back Road from 16m north of its junction with Yelverton FP8 for 230m northwards to facilitate new fibre networks installation works from 15th to 30th May 2025 (may continue until 11th July 2025). Alternative route is via: Slade Lane, Church Road, Bergh Apton Road (Alpington, Yelverton). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.
CLENCHWARTON – Station Road from 200m north of its junction with A17 for 50m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water repair chamber cover and frame works from 14th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Station Road, Main Road, Lynn Road, Terrington St Clement Bypass A17, Clenchwarton Bypass A17 (Clenchwarton, Tilney All Saints, Terrington St John). The works promoter is Anglian Water.
GREAT MASSINGHAM – Castle Acre Road from its junction with Drunken Drove for 205m southwards to facilitate overhead cable works from 12th to 13th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). Alternative route is via: Castle Acre Road, Weasenham Road, Rougham Road, Litcham Road. The works promoter is UK Power Network.
KING’S LYNN – 1) Blackfriars Road from its junction with Portland Street for 70m southwards and
2) Waterloo Street from its junction with Blackfriars Road for 15m westwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The road 1) will be temporarily closed and road 2) shall be temporarily subject to suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction between 19:00 on 11th May and 06:30 on 12th May (may continue until 23rd June 2025). KING’S LYNN – Blackfriars Road from its junction with Wellesley Street to its junction with Waterloo Street to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works between 18:00 and 06:30 from 11th to 12th May 2025 (may continue until 23rd June 2025). The road will be subject to the temporary suspension of the 7.5-tonne weight restriction between 19:00 and 06:30 from 12th to 14th May 2025 (may continue until the 25th June 2025). KING’S LYNN – 1) U20415/20 Norfolk Street from its junction with Blackfriars Road for 30m westwards and; 2) Norfolk Street Footway from its junction with U20415/20 Norfolk Street for 20m southwards and; 3) U20415/20 Norfolk Street from its junction with A148 Railway Road to its junction with Blackfriars Road to facilitate 2-way link box replacement works. The road 1) will be temporarily closed. The use by the public of 2) footway will be prohibited. The road 3) shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction and traffic over the road 3) shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload between 08:00 and 17:00 from 12th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until the 27th June 2025).

KING’S LYNN – Chapel Street from its junction with Austin Street to its junction with St Nicholas Street to facilitate new gas connection works from 12th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). KING’S LYNN – John Kennedy Road from its junction with Loke Road to its junction with Austin Street to facilitate surface dressing works from 11th to 25th May 2025 (may continue until 6th July 2025). LITTLE MASSINGHAM – Station Road from 242m south of its junction with Lower Lynn Lane for 800m southwards to facilitate carriageway patching works from 12th to 16th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June). NB Diversion route will be clearly symbolised due to an existing diversion.
MARHAM – Hillside from its junction with The Street for 103m south-eastwards to facilitate carriageway patching works from 13th to 14th May 2025 (may continue until 26th June 2025) Alternative route is via: The Street, Hillside. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.
METHWOLD – Main Road from its junction with Gordon Fuller Close for 2000m northwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works between 19:00 and 06:30 from 12th to 14th May 2025 (may continue until 27th June 2025). SNETTISHAM – Lynn Road from its junction with Lamsey Lane for 1245m southwards to facilitate resurfacing dressing works between 19:00 and 05:00 from 13th to 15th May 2025 (may continue until 6th July 2025). Alternative route is via: Snettisham Bypass, Dersingham Bypass, Queen Elizabeth Way, Hillington Road, Lynn Road, Fakenham Road, Anmer Road, Docking Road, Bircham Road, Sedgeford Road, Cole Green, Heacham Road (Hillington, Snettisham, Roydon, Docking, Ingoldisthorpe, Congham, Castle Rising, Heacham, Dersingham, Flitcham with Appleton, Bircham, Sedgeford, Anmer, Sandringham). Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
