The County of Cornwall (Beacon Road, Marazion) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Marazion. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th June 2025 to 11th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Beacon Road, Marazion for its entire length.

The County of Cornwall (Belyars Lane, St Ives) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. This prohibition is necessary for fire hydrant repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th June 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Belyars Lane, St Ives between the junctions of Belyars Court and Dynas la Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newlyn. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th June 2025 to 13th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Kenstella Road, Newlyn between the property known as number 38 to the junction adjacent with property number 24.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newlyn. This prohibition is necessary for defect repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th June 2025 to 13th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.

Road affected - New Road, Newlyn between the junction of Tolcarne and the property known as number 11.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Townshend. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th June 2025 to 11th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Trescowe Common, Godolphin Bridge, Townshend from junction with Rocky Lane to junction with Godolphin Cross.

The County of Cornwall (B3315 From A30 To Stable Hobba, Newlyn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 12th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newlyn. This prohibition is necessary for tree cutting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th May 2025 to 28th May 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - B3315 From A30 To Stable Hobba, Newlyn for its entire length.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 19th December 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 8, Perranuthnoe and Footpath 12, Marazion for their entire lengths. The Order which commenced on the 20th December 2023 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 28th May 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 28th May 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to collapsed surfacing.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 12th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Marazion. This prohibition is necessary for fibre infrastructure overlay works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2025 to 4th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Green Lane, Marazion for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 12th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Heamoor. This prohibition is necessary for works to clear blockage and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th May 2025 to 29th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Polmennor Road, Heamoor from junction with Church Road to junction with Access To Polmennor Farm.

This prohibition is necessary for gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th May 2025 to 30th May 2025. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 12th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Leedstown. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trenerth Road, Leedstown from near The Old Meeting House to near Swingletree Farm.
