(ALMA PLACE, STROOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new fibre optic cable to be installed
Alma Place, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Knight Road and the frontage of 5 Alma Place. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Charles Street, Cuxton Road, High Street and Commercial Road.
This Order will come into force on Friday, 6 June 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 6 June 2025 and are programmed for completion within 2 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(MERRYBOYS ROAD, CLIFFE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
Merryboys Road, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Maple Cottage”. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Town Road, Station Road, Cooling Road and Cooling Common.
This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 28 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CAZENEUVE STREET, ROCHESTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
Cazeneuve Street, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 14 Cazeneuve Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via East Row, Union Street and King Street.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within four days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
May Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic for the entire length. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Frederick Road, York Avenue and College Avenue.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 19 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 19 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
Melbourne Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Brisbane Road and the junction with Otway street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Sydney Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 19 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 19 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(NORTH DANE WAY AREA, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which has been to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate highway works in connection with a new housing development
North Dane Way and Scarlett Close, Chatham - to be closed to all traffic (a) in North Dane Way, from the junction with Lords Wood Lane for a distance of 500 metres in a northerly direction, (b) in the urban footway between North Dane Way and Scarlett Close; and (c) in the three way junction of Scarlett Close opposite 4 and 5 Scarlett Close. An alternative route will be available via Princes Avenue, Prince Charles Avenue and Lords Wood Lane.
This Order came into force on Friday, 2 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works commenced by Notice on Monday, 28 April and are programmed for completion by 5 July, 2025. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
Reed Street, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 44 Reed Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Swingate Avenue and Thatchers Lane.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 20 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out
Watson Avenue, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic for the entire length. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Holland Road, Hill View Way, Concord Avenue, Amehyst Avenue and Barberry Avenue.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 27 May 2025 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(ROCHESTER AVENUE AND DELCE ROAD, ROCHESTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable underground cabling works to be carried out
Rochester Avenue and Delce Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (Phase 1) for the entire length of Rochester Avenue and (Phase 2) at the three-way junction of Rochester Avenue with Delce Road for a distance of 50 metres in each direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be available via Cecil Road or Hoopers Road and Foord Street.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 2 June 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. Phase 1 of the works are due to commence on or after Monday, 2 June 2025 and are programmed for completion within 3 weeks. Phase 2 will commence on 28 July and are programmed for completion by 4 August. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
