St Andrews Road, Gasworks Street and Stadium Way, Huddersfield - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 KIRKLEES COUNCIL (ST ANDREWS ROAD, GASWORKS STREET AND STADIUM WAY, HUDDERSFIELD - STEREOPHONICS CONCERT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (during the holding of the Stereophonics Concert) the Council of the Borough of Kirklees has made the above Order, the effect of which will be that:

Part 1
1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along St. Andrew’s Road (between Thistle Street and Turnbridge Road), Gasworks Street (between Leeds Road and St. Andrew’s Road and then one-way exiting the stadium), and Stadium Way (between edge of Stadium footprint (near entry gantry) and St Andrew’s Road), Huddersfield (PROVIDED THAT such prohibitions shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant event or by arrangement with the organisers) on 14 June 2025 between the hours of 12:00 – 23:59

Part 2
2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle (whether mechanically propelled or not) to wait or park on both sides of that part of St Andrews Road (B6432) from its junction with Stadium Way to Wakefield Road, or on the footways thereon on 14 June 2025 between the hours of 12:00 – 23:59

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
