What is happening?

The Isle of Wight Council’s Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours on Sunday 11 May 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 11 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, there will be a temporary speed restriction along a) Rolls Hill, between its junction with Thorness Lane and its junction with Pallance Road. b) Pallance Road for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact lengths On-street signage will depict the exact lengths. The restriction is required for Development works.
