Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders:

The Isle of Wight Council (Worsley Road, Gurnard, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 19 May 2025, and Wednesday 21 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Worsley Road, Gurnard, between its junctions with Glen Place and its junction with Tutton’s Hill. The Isle of Wight Council (Moa Place, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

The Isle of Wight Council (George Street, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

The Isle of Wight Council (Beachfield Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025

The Isle of Wight Council (Mayfield Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Monday 19 May 2025, and Friday 23 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Mayfield Road, Ryde, between its junctions with St Vincents Road and its junction with Pell Lane. The Isle of Wight Council (George Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 4 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0930 hours and 1530 hours on Wednesday 21 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, George Street will be closed between its junctions with Castle Street and Cross Street. The Isle of Wight Council (Alverstone Road, Newchurch, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0830 and 1530 hours on Monday 19 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, Alverstone Road will be closed between its junctions with Borthwood Lane and Youngwoods Way. The Isle of Wight Council (Newbarn Lane, Gatcombe, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Monday 19 May 2025 until 1500 hours on Wednesday 21 May 2025, or when the works has been completed, the one-way restrictions will be revoked along a) The Quay for its entire length; b) Quay Street for its entire length; c) Markey Square, for its entire length; d) St James Square, for its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (Ventnor Footpath 83, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1600 hours on Tuesday, 06 May 2025 until 1600 hours on Monday, 04 August 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ventnor Footpath 83, Ventnor 80m from its junction with Flowers Brook Path for a distance of 150 metres. The Isle of Wight Council (Newport Footpath 122, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1600 hours on Tuesday, 13 May 2025 until 1600 hours on Friday, 30 May 2025, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Newport Footpath 122, 120 metres south from its junction with Folly Lane, for a distance of 430 metres. The Isle of Wight Council (Longhalves Lane, Freshwater, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order No 4 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1600 hours on Wednesday 14 May 2025 until 1600 hours on Friday 25 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Longhalves Lane between its junction with School Green Road and its junction with Parkers Hill for a distance of 315metre. A) Penny Cress Drive from its junction with Lavender Way until the end of the Cul de sac.

B) Penny Cress Drive from its junction with Lavender Way and its junction with Godric Road.

C) Lavender Way from its junction with Godric Road for a distance of 87m in an Eastern direction.

D) Lavender Way for its entire length.

E) Godric Road between its junction with Angelica Grove and its junction with Penny Cress Drive.

F) Godric Road between its junction with Wintergreen Gardens, Newport and its junction with Angelica Drive.

G) Godric Road between its junction with Lavender Way and its junction with Foundry Road.

The Isle of Wight Council (Westhill Lane, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 09 May 2025 and Friday 20 June 2025 the following roads will be closed between set times for a period of approximately 1–15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The Isle of Wight Council (Chatfield Lodge, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Chatfield Lodge, Newport, will be closed for its entire length.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours on Sunday 11 May 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 11 July 2025 or when the works has been completed, a one-way restriction will be introduced along Horsebridge Hill and Parkhurst Road in a southerly direction, from 50 metres north of Nicholson Street to Partridge Road, With the exception of Southern Vectis vehicles providing public transport and school services. The alternative route will be Forest Road, Whitehouse Road, Rolls Hill, Palance Road. The restriction is required for safety during Development works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours on Sunday 11 May 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 11 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, There will be a temporary speed restriction along

a) Parkhurst Road, between its junction with Horsebridge Hill and Partridge Road and

b) Horsebridge Hill, between its junction with Parkhurst Road and 100 metres north of Nicholson Street.

The Isle of Wight Council (Whitehouse Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary 40 mph Speed Restriction) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours on Sunday 11 May 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 11 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, there will be a temporary speed restriction along

a) Whitehouse Road, between its junction with Forest Road and its junction with Little Whitehouse Road, and

b) Little Whitehouse Road, between its junction with Whitehouse Road and its junction with Thorness Lane.
