Stalmine With Staynall, Wyre Borough - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH FP0222013 AND PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH FP0222011 STALMINE WITH STAYNALL, WYRE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily all traffic from proceeding over the Public Footpaths indicated below: -
Public Footpath FP0222013 Stalmine with Staynall, Wyre, from the junction with FP0222011 Stalmine with Staynall at Point A (SD367433) in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 350 metres to the junction with Wardleys Lane at Point B (SD365430).
Part of Public Footpath FP0222011 Stalmine with Staynall, Wyre, from the junction with FP0222013 Stalmine with Staynall at Point A (SD367433) in a generally southerly direction for approximately 456 metres to the junction with Kiln Lane at Point C (SD367428).
The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpaths.
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpaths, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpaths, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works
The Order will be operative from the 5th May, 2025, for a period of 3 months or until the works are completed within this period.
