Langmuir Road, Bargeddie - Temporary Road Closure for Carriageway Resurfacing
What is happening?

LANGMUIR ROAD, BARGEDDIE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On 5 May 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on carriageway resurfacing) on Langmuir Road, Bargeddie from the junction of Rosebank Terrace to the roundabout at Barrbridge Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: via Langmuir Road (A752), Coatbridge Road (A89), Glasgow and Edinburgh Road (A8) and Aitkenhead Road (A752)
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order, which will be effective on weekends only from 0001 hours on Saturdays until 2359 hours on Sundays, will come into operation at 0001 hours Saturday, 17 May 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 25 May 2025.
