What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Bath Road, Holbeck, Leeds) (Parking Bay Suspension) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway requiring access and egress by large works vehicles, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause any vehicle to park in any of those 8 parking bays situated at the entrance of Midland Mills on Bath Road, Holbeck, Leeds, in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward; (4 being situated in a northerly direction and the other 4 in a southerly direction). The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 21 May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 3 June 2025. The parking bay suspension will be in place 24hrs per day. (City Wide) Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.10 2025

& (Various Traffic Movements) (City Wide Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.3 2025: Assembly Street, Leeds NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to Prevent Waiting at any Time and to Prohibit vehicular access (except for loading between 23:30pm and 10:30am) on the whole of Assembly Street, Leeds. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below.
