Barnet Hill, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Footway Civils Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY NO ENTRY, BANNED RIGHT TURN AND BANNED LEFT TURN BARNET HILL EN5

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate footway civil works, they have made an Order which will:

(a) temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering Underhill EN5 from Barnet Hill, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right into Underhill from Barnet Hill EN5, while the works take place.

(c) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn left into Underhill EN5 from Barnet Hill, while the works take place.

(d) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right into Fairfield Way EN5 from Barnet Hill, while the works take place.

The works will commence at 8.00am on Thursday 8th May 2025 and is expected to last for 14 days.

The alternative route for motorists will be via Great North Rd, High St, Wood St, Barnet Lane, Westcombe Drive and vice versa. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Traffic Warden in uniform.
