Bradford Road, Keighley - Temporary One-Way Road Closure due to Construction Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

BRADFORD ROAD, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Bradford Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bradford Road (one-way closure — closure to North bound traffic only) from its junction with Bingley Street to its junction with Back Emily Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Bradford Road (unaffected section), Cavendish Street, North Street, Skipton Road, Hard Ings Road, Bradford Road.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 21:00 hours on the 22nd May 2025 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on the 23rd May 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
