B3420 Upper High Street, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to new water connection
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B3420 Upper High Street between its junction with B3040 Romsey Road and its junction with B3420 Newburgh Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3040, B3041, B3049, B3044, B3420
DURATION OF ORDER: from 27th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 nights, working between the hours 21:30 – 06:00).
