What is happening?

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING

PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (THE GROVE, SHIFNAL)

(AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025

On 8 May 2025 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce the following parking restrictions onto The Grove, Shifnal:

No Waiting at any time
The Grove
(west to east section)
(north side)

From its junction with Park Street east-
wards the extent of the adopted highway
at the entrance to Yew Tree Court.

From its junction with Park Street east-
wards the extent of the adopted highway
at the entrance to Yew Tree Court.

(west side)

From its junction with The Grove (west
to east section) to a point in line with the
top of the transitional kerbs outside nos.
17 to 22 The Grove TF11 9EH

50 The Grove TF11 9EH

Any existing waiting restrictions at the above locations will be revoked.
These changes will come into effect on 13 May 2025.

A copy of the order may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am- 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or ofany instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 8 May 2025, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
