Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (As Amended)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):

ORDER NO. MCC143113168: The City of Manchester (Perrygate Avenue, Didsbury West Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Perrygate Avenue. 

The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate repairing customer service. 

It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 15th May 2025.

The order shall come into operation on the 15th May 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. 

If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

ORDER NO. MCC143173870: The City of Manchester (Hardman Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Hardman Street at its junction with Deansgate. 

The alternative routes for traffic will be: Deansgate, Quay Street, Byrom Street. 

The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate replacement of a fire hydrant. 

It is expected that the works will be in progress from 12th July 2025 to 13th July 2025. 

The order shall come into operation on 12th July 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. 

If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
